Introduction to Garment Sewing 2: Inset Sleeves 7/28 12:00 pm-6:00 pm

80.00

Now that you know the basics of sewing garments (pattern layout, minor pattern adjustments, sewing seams, hemming), let’s learn the next big step. In this class you will learn to inset a sleeve in a bodice.  You will learn to check the bodice fit, check the sleeve head for correct ease, how to inset and sew in the sleeve, and how to fix fit problems. You will need to choose a pattern and make up the bodice in muslin, and bring the pattern and enough muslin to make the sleeve to class. We will fit the bodice, make any adjustments needed, then check the sleeve fit, and cut the sleeve from muslin and you will learn to sew in a sleeve.
