Ever wanted to make your own coat with just the details that you want? In this class we will start with fitting the muslin, move to bound buttonholes, welt pockets, and making a beautiful wool coat, fully lined. You can choose from one of two patterns: Named Clothing Yona Wrap Coat (a raglan coat with welt pockets) or the Grainline Yates Coat. (The Yona is only available as a PDF). This is a more challenging class for intermediate sewists. You will be probably need to sew some of the coat at home to ensure that we finish the coat within the timeframe allotted. However, this coat will last you a lifetime and is a joy to wear!
